Newsflash – the third batch of flies from Jean Cerda in French Guiana has arrived. Looks like a really big sample too so I am keeping my fingers crossed for plenty of fun this winter! More news to follow as I work through them 😀
What with these and the Estonia specimens (Eye spy Tach. grossa!), someone’s got a busy winter!
Oh yes – there’s a few that can be ID’d from the photo: Tachina grossa, Phasia hemiptera, Ernestia puparum, Phasia aurigera, Cylindromyia bicolor, Ectophasia crassipennis. This winter is going to be great fun – no rest for the wicked!! 😀
